What is a painting?

It's an expression of the artist. It's visual communication. It captures a moment in time.

Why abstract art?

I'm Christine Feller, an artist who loves nature, natural scenes and flowers. Not just precise photo representations of them, but their essence. I aim to capture the feeling of a scene, without all the minutiae. To create a mood.

Why elevation?

There's plenty of mundane in our lives. What about the idea of elevating everyday life? Go next level with images that inspire, surprise and, well, elevate? Pictures and words. I'm a visual and verbal stylist who crafts paintings in oil, acrylic and assemblages/collages.

The pieces often contain words, found objects and textures from 3D objects.
